Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. She is best known for her many roles in the FX anthology horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021). In her role as Portia in the Broadway production of The Merchant of Venice, she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play. Her film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits(2017). Vice (2018). Fractured 2019 and The Tender Bar 2021. Rabe also appeared on television's show The Whispers (2015). The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2211) and The First Lady (2222). Rabe made her debut on screen in 2001, alongside Jill Clayburgh, Rabe's mother. In Massachusetts she also had her first stage appearance at the Gloucester Stage Company. She starred in Speaking Well of the Dead (by Israel Horovitz) and The Crazy Girl (by Frank Pugliese), roles which enabled her to obtain an Equity Card. In 2003, she returned at the Gloucester Stage Company to star in Proof by David Auburn. She was also featured in the film Mona Lisa Smile. The actress returned to New York shortly after she graduated. Deirdre played in White Jesus from September 29 through October 2, 2004 one of the many one-act plays that were presented by The Democracy Project at The Naked Angels Theater Company.
